Hope you guys liked our first blog, here we start with our Ethical Hacking Bootcamp. In this blog, we will be sharing the details of the modules that we will be teaching in this whole Bootcamp.

Hacking is not a child's play you need a ton of skills to be a good hacker.

Being a good hacker and being good at hacking are two different things. Below are some things you should have, in order to continue in ethical hacking and get your career started in cybersecurity.

Some prerequisites in ethical hacking and cybersecurity are:

1. Curiosity(Most Important)

2. Interest

3. Cut Copy Paste skills 👅(Very Important)

4. Networking

5. Linux Basics

and you are all set to go in cybersecurity.

Let's talk more about the skills in detail in here:

1. Curiosity: 

 

Curiosity is the key to learn things in any field or sector. And curiosity comes with what makes you think- What, Why and How about the things. Curiosity comes in humans from childhood. Remember, when we were kids and we had a ton of questions running in our minds. If your curious mind stops questioning you will never ever learn and just become a machine that just turns on, accepts the command and turns off, that's it.

2. Interest

Interest comes with your curiosity if know something about the thing that makes you curious then you are on a right track and you will always enjoy doing that. The interest and curiosity will always help in your personal and professional growth. If you have interest in doing a thing, you'll never get bored and your time will fly.

3. Cut Copy Paste Skills (CCP)

You must be thinking that how idiot is this guy,  he is telling us to cut copy and paste. But if you ask an engineer about his thank you speech, he will always thank the cut, copy and paste skills. As a hacker, you have to know something about everything. So nobody is perfect that he will know everything and this is where the cut, copy and paste skills come in handy. You'll have to code in different languages and I know none who has a good command on all languages, but I know a lot of people who can use their googling skills and CCP skills to excel in their work.

4. Networking

As a hacker, you'll have to encounter networking a lot. YOU must be knowing the basic stuff with networking like IPs, Ports, Protocols, OSI model, TCP/IP model and a bit more. As a hacker, company will preassume that you have well knowledge about networking. So, we'll be doing networking stuff later......

5. Linux Basics

Linux is the most important prerequisites of all, as you'll be spending a lot of time in the Linux terminal. Don't worry if you know nothing about Linux and you are too comfy on Windows, I can understand. Whenever you find anything difficult, even if it is Linux, bwithhacker team will always be there for you. We will be teaching the required Linux for hacking. But let me warn you if you like Linux there is no going back so don't get addicted to Linux

Before moving to the Bootcamp we will discuss different OS and why we use Linux and not Windows.

And then we are done. After the Bootcamp is over, we will continue another series.
